System failure on the hottest or coldest day? Here's what to do while waiting for repair.

If you smell gas, leave immediately and call your gas company from outside. Don't flip switches or use phones inside.

If there's a burning smell, turn off the system at the thermostat and breaker. Call for service - don't restart until inspected.
